Calamari with garlic

Ingredients for calamari with garlic/ 4 people

200 g white squid cut into
strips 1 cm

tablespoon of sunflower oil

cloves garlic, minced

teaspoon soy sauce

tablespoon of sugar

teaspoon cornstarch diluted in 1 tablespoon water

PREPARATION calamari with garlic

Mix the rice wine, soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch and pepper in a small bowl and
set aside.

Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and sauté the garlic and ginger for 10
seconds.

Add the squid and let it fry until it begins to curl.

Finally

Stir
in the sauce and heat again for 1 minute.

for Cashew Uncheese Recipe

3 tb Agar
flakes, PLUS
1 ts Agar flakes
1-1/2 c Cold water
1-1/2 c Cashews, raw
1/2 c Sunflower seeds
2 tb Nutritional yeast
1-1/2 ts Sea salt
1/4 c Lemon juice
3 tb Carrot, finely grated
1 tb Vegetable oil

Cashew Uncheese
Preparation

Stir the agar
into the cold water, then simmer over low heat to soften it. Pour half the agar
water into a blender and process with half the cashews and sunflower seeds.
Blending half at time will help make the mixture creamier faster. (Overfilling
the blender will result in an uneven texture.) Add half of the each of the
remaining ingredients and blend until creamy. Pour into a mixing bowl. Process
the other half of ingredients the same way. Thoroughly mix the two batches
together and pour into a mold or bowl. Chill until set. Rodney Polden &

Monkfish Kebob with Vegetables Recipe

1 lb Monkfish filets, cut into
1 Clove garlic, minced
-cubes 2
c Oil
Onions 1
c White wine
Green peppers 1
tb Lemon juice
Cherry tomatos 1/4
ts Salt
Zucchini 1/4
ts Thyme
Corn on the cob 1/4
ts Dill
8 Kebob sticks
1/4 ts Oregano
Marinade: 1/4
ts Paprika

Kebob with Vegetables Preparation

Monkfish Kebob
with Vegetables Marinate monkfish cubes for at least an hour. Cut vegetables into
chunks. Place monkfish cubes and vegetables on kebob skewers. Marinate skewers
in large casserole or baking sidh, covered and refrigerated for three hours.
Broil in oven, lightly basting and turning often for approximately 8-10
minutes. Serves 4, 2 kebobs each.
