Frommer’s books aren’t written by committee, or by travel writers who simply pop in briefly to a destination and then consider the job done. We employ the best local experts to author our guides, like longtime Paris resident Anna E. Brooke. In this innovative, easy-to-carry, itinerary-based guide she show readers how to see the best of the City of Lights — in the smartest, most time-efficient way.

The book includes chapters on the best of Paris in one, two, or three days, thematic, self-guided tours for every interest, schedule, and taste, and walking tours of the city’s best-loved neighborhoods. It features hundreds of evocative photos, bulleted maps that show you how to get from place to place and offers highly opinionated hotel, restaurant, shopping, and nightlife reviews for all budgets along with a tear-resistant foldout map — enclosed in a handy plastic wallet you can also use for tickets and souvenirs.

Title: Lifesaver
Review: This little guide is a must-have for Paris. I was there at the end of June 2024, during 3-5 days of international cellular outage. I purchased an eSIM but that failed more often than not. Due to the outage, navigation was unavailable by phone. By then, I had the hang of the metro, but the little map in this guide was a lifesaver. The booklet is well-organized and informative. I looked at several guides in the library before buying this one. It’s little but not too tiny to read. Perfect!

Review: I once lived in France and am familiar with Paris. This excellent guidebook has well-structured one-day, two-day, and three-day best visits and thematic tours.I loved it the moment I opened it:-the book (18 X 10.5 cm approximately) is easy to carry-there is a handy metro map printed on the inner front page-and a detachable city map is in a pocket at the inner back of the book.My best buy guidebook so far.

Title: Thorough and accurate
Review: I’ve bought the most recent version of this little guidebook for each of my trips to Paris and am buying it again today, in 2024. I’ve used it traveling solo, with kids, as a couple, with friends, and it’s always helpful and relevant. The size is perfect for carrying around all day and the fold out map is indestructible!
