Title: No information
Review: If you ever wanted a quide to make shopping in the Saint-Ouen market easier this is NOT it. This book is a random collection of photographs of shop owners and full page graphics of their names (52 pages worth), and pages of interviews with them. There are photos of random objects, some of them interesting. This book tells you nothing about the organization of the market and gives no practical information. This is only the second time in 25 years of book purchasing from Amazon that I am returning for complete dissatisfaction.

Title: Beautiful book, too bad it smells so bad!
Review: I don’t know what the printing process is that has come into vogue, but the smell and off-gassing from this book is making it impossible for me to look at or read for more than a few seconds at a time. I THINK it’s a great book about one of my favorite places in Paris, but I’ve not been able to spend anytime around it since it got here. It’s airing outside on my porch and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to peruse it someday.
