The 175 hotel rooms and suites are divided into two buildings: the historic part of the hotel and a more modern one. All are spacious and offer a view of the forest, the lake or the rooftops of Zurich. The interior is decorated with refinement and modernity. The rooms are all different with a design with circular and rounded elements with, among other things, oval-shaped sofas and furniture with elegant curves.

The four “Top Suites” are inspired by famous artists who stayed at The Dolder Grand. Take for example the Carezza Suite, whose design is influenced by the style of Alberto Giacometti. Or the Masina Suite, in reference to the Italian actress Giuletta Masina: a “small” glamorous jewel of 170 m² in a 1950s version. In addition to the original interior, these suites are all equipped with a terrace and aa private sauna.

This scan only takes 90 minutes. This is time well invested!

Style even on the plate

At the restaurant Saltz, typical and regional products are honored in a kitchen open to the world. Between the savory creations of chef Julian Mai and the delicacies of pastry chef Christian Hümbs, there is plenty to enjoy! The original interior designed by Rolf Sachs is in keeping with chef Julian Mai’s philosophy of “simplistic sophistication” on the menu. The restaurant has been awarded 14 Gault Millau points. In summer, the terrace is open to enjoy a good meal outdoors.
