While offering an elegant, smart and robust watch (it adopts a sapphire crystal), the French brand specializing in e-health manages to combine a series of sensors capable of performing medical measurements such as an ECG or detecting apneas some sleep.

It can thus detect atrial fibrillation (one of the most common cardiac disorders) and alert its owner in the event of an irregular heartbeat.

In addition to tracking heart rate, sleep, and activity, ScanWatch offers the ability to record an ECG using the electrodes on the back and around the dial.

It also functions as a pulse oximeter by measuring the oxygen saturation in the blood thanks to an SP02 sensor allowing the detection of sleep apnea.

When you wake up, you can get a full report from the Health Mate app (compatible with iOS and Android): the average heart rate during the night, the number of apneic episodes and cardiac events.

The watch follows you day and night to detect heart and sleep disorders.

Withings is completely engulfed in e-health with this new non-invasive connected device and is trying to respond to a public health problem.

Sleep apnea and atrial fibrillations are the main causes of stroke. Difficult to detect, this ScanWatch can prevent them… alert you, in particular by constantly measuring your heart rate using the on-board PPG sensor.

The watch can then vibrate and notify you via the screen on the dial when your heart rate is too high or too low or if the recorded heart rate is irregular. She will suggest that you perform an ECG to support this diagnosis.
