review ,Although it is bridled at 25 km / h – to comply with the legislation in force – this scooter is clearly made for the road or wide sidewalks (if the municipality allows it and at a speed limited to 6 km / h). Like the previous model, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro does not show great agility, handicapped by its small turning radius.

On the other hand, it does find its place on a cycle track and on straight lines. Its inflatable tires seem quite sturdy and do not fear potholes or other bumps on the road, which is quite pleasant to use. On the other hand, you can clearly feel the absence of a shock absorber when the tremors are too strong or when you roll on cobblestones, which can create small pains in the arms and knees.

Who says inflatable tires, says punctures … Alas, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro is no better off than its predecessor when it comes to changing the inner tube of the front wheel. The exercise can indeed require a good hour and the method to achieve it is not frankly intuitive.

In use, when the scooter is fully loaded, it only takes 5 seconds to reach its maximum speed. However, if the battery is not sufficiently charged, this acceleration time can easily double.

The 600 W motor of this Pro version (against 500 W for the M365 Mijia) offers a real gain in use by being more torquey. Indeed, while the M365 shows signs of fatigue when its battery goes below 50%, the Pro retains good torque up to at least 20%.

We also note that the racing car does not suffer from the ribs, even at full speed: by launching the scooter at 25 km / h on a very steep road, we have lost only 5 km / h at most, which remains very correct.

The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter Pro has a double braking system: a 120 mm disc brake at the rear and an anti-lock engine braking system at the front. Launched at 25 km / h, it only took us 3.5 m to stop completely. For comparison, an electric bike takes approximately 3 m to stop dead during emergency braking. However, Xiaomi does not do it in half measures: it is impossible to brake gently (to distance yourself from a vehicle for example) and braking is a little too brutal in some cases.

Like the previous model, this scooter benefits from an application thanks to a Bluetooth connection. Via the M365 application, the functions are very limited and the app gives us access to the number of kilometers traveled, the percentage of autonomy remaining or even the duration of the journey made. We will favor the Xiaomi health home application, which allows to access the cruise control function.
